Beijing, November 5th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Nipon Bunyamanee, Deputy Head of Democratic Party and Deputy Minister of Interior of Thailand. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on relations between the two countries and the two Parties and issues of common concern.
Guo made positive comments on China-Thailand relations, saying that the CPC is willing to work with the Democratic Party of Thailand to learn from each other's experience in party governance and state administration and jointly promote the in-depth development of China-Thailand relations, the Belt and Road cooperation and China-ASEAN relations.
Nipon spoke highly of the remarkable achievements of the CPC in its 70 years of governance and expressed willingness to push for closer pragmatic cooperation between Thailand and China as well as at the local level. The Democratic Party hopes to learn the CPC’s successful experience in the cultivation of young cadres and targeted poverty alleviation.
