Beijing, November 19th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a study group of 2019 African mainstream media led by the head of the Agence Tchadienne de Presse et d'Edition (ATPE).

Qian introduced the significance and main spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, saying that the CPC attaches great importance to exchanges with African media and is willing to strengthen pragmatic cooperation with media friends to promote the building of a stronger China-Africa community with a shared future.

ATPE head spoke highly of the great achievements made by the CPC in its 70 years of governance and spoke positively of China's efforts to promote China-Africa cooperation in various fields under the Belt and Road Initiative, and expressed that the ATPE will give play to the power of the media to tell the story of China, the story of the Chinese system and the story of the CPC to the African people in an objective and real manner.
