Beijing, November 26th—Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Le Hoai Trung, Vice Foreign Minister of Vietnam.

Wang said that China-Vietnam relations have maintained a sound momentum of development in recent years. China is ready to work with Vietnam to earnestly implement the spirit of a series of important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and two countries, take the opportunity of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Vietnam in 2020, strengthen high-level exchanges, enhance political mutual trust, strengthen pragmatic cooperation in various fields, properly manage differences and push bilateral relations to a higher level.

Le Hoai Trung said that Vietnam attaches great importance to developing Vietnam-China relations and the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry is ready to work closely with the International Department of the CPC Central Committee to deepen friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two parties and the two countries and make new contributions to the sustained, sound and stable development of Vietnam-China relations.
