Beijing, November, 25th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), attended and addressed here today on the afternoon the 34th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).

Guo briefed on the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. He said, the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) for National Economic and Social Development will bring more opportunities for the cooperation between China and Asian countries. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and dialogue with political parties in Asian countries, and jointly promote regional peace and prosperity. Guo also introduced the Asian Political Parties Online Conference on Forging Synergy against COVID-19 co-organized by the IDCPC and the Secretariat of the ICAPP.

The delegates from the political parties said, it is believed that the grand blueprint and the development goals established at the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee will be fully achieved, driving countries in the world, including Asian countries, to achieve better and faster progress. They look forward to deepening exchanges and cooperation with China in various fields through intra-party exchanges.

The assembly also had a discussion on the planning of ICAPP's events in 2021.
