Beijing, March 31st—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee held a video call here today with Hon. Taabeta Teakai, Minister of Employment and Human Resources of Kiribati. Tang Songgen, Chinese Ambassador to Kiribati, and Hon. Ioteba Redfern, President of Tobwaan Kiribati Party attended the meeting.
Guo Yezhou spoke highly of the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Kiribati. He then introduced the 100-year history of the CPC, and its major achievements and experiences, as well as the relevant facts of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025). He said that the CPC is willing to promote communication and cooperation with Tobwaan Kiribati Party to further promote the relations between the two countries.
Teakai and others warmly congratulated on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and spoke highly of the economic and social development achievements of China. She said that Tobwaan Kiribati Party is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with the CPC, and promote practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries, so as to deliver better benefits to the two peoples.
