Qian Hongshan Holds a Video Call with Leader of the United Russia Party

Beijing, April 2nd—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here on the afternoon with Andrey Klimov, Deputy Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia Party. They exchanged views on the relations between the two countries and the recent exchange activities between the two parties.

Qian expressed, 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation Between the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation and also the 20th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the CPC and the United Russia Party. The CPC is willing to join hands with the United Russia Party to take the opportunity to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state in an in-depth manner, strengthen the institutionalized exchanges and cooperation between the two parties and actively contribute to the high-level development of China-Russia relations as well as development and renewal of our two countries.

Klimov said, this year carries special significance for the relations between the two countries and the two parties. The United Russia Party is willing to comprehensively strengthen friendly exchanges with the CPC, further deepen exchange of experience in state governance and administration, and promote cooperation in various fields, so as to make more contributions to the development of Russia-China relations in the new era.
