Zhu Rui Holds Video Conference with XX, Chief Advisor on Foreign Affairs to the President of the Republican People's Party of Turkey

Beijing, June 17— Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held here today a video conference on the afternoon with Chewicz, chief advisor on foreign affairs to the President of the Republican People's Party of Turkey. Chewicz, member of the Republican People's Party and member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was present.

Zhu Rui spoke positively on the substantial development of China-Turkey strategic cooperative relations and stressed that the Communist Party of China attaches great importance to the friendly and cooperative relations with the Turkish Republican People’s Party. China is willing to take the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-Turkey diplomatic relations as an opportunity to continuously deepen communication and cooperation between the two parties in various areas, create a sound atmosphere for the development of relations between the two parties and the two nations, and jointly promote the continuous development of China-Turkey strategic cooperative relations.

Chewicz conveyed the warm congratulations from Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Chairman of the Republican People’s Party of Turkey, on the centenary of the CPC. Chewicz highly appreciated the great achievements made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC. The Republican People’s Party attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with the CPC, is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning at all levels between the two parties, and hopes to boost pragmatic cooperation at local level between the two countries through intra-party channels.
