Zhao Leji, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, held a video meeting in Beijing with Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC), Member of the Secretariat of the CPVCC, and Head of the Inspection Commission of the CPVCC.

Zhao said, China and Vietnam are both socialist countries led by communist parties. In recent years, General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong have maintained strategic communication in various ways and reached many important consensuses on promoting the healthy and stable development of the relations between the two parties and the two countries. China is willing to work with Vietnam to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties, deepen the exchange of theoretical and practical experiences in party governance and state administration, and promote exchanges and cooperation in discipline inspection and supervision, with a view to provide political guarantees for the stable and long-term development of China-Vietnam relations and the socialist causes of the two countries.

Tran spoke highly of the remarkable development achievements the Chinese people have made under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core. He said that developing and strengthening traditional friendly relations with China have always been the priority of the CPV and Vietnam. The CPV is willing to strengthen inter-party exchanges and deepen cooperation in discipline inspection and supervision with the CPC to promote Vietnam-China relations for new progress.
