Beijing, October 14th—Zhu Rui, Assistant Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today on the afternoon with Dogu Perincek, Chairman of the Patriotic Party of Turkey, and attended the opening ceremony of the webinar for cadres of Patriotic Party of Turkey with Dogu Perincek.

Speaking positively of China-Turkey relations and exchanges between CPC and Patriotic Party of Turkey, Zhu thanked the Patriotic Party of Turkey for consistent and firm support to the Chinese side on issues related to Xinjiang, Hong Kong and the COVID-19. He said, the CPC attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with the Patriotic Party of Turkey, and is ready to take the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to continuously strengthen cooperation between the two Parties in various areas, so as to promote China-Turkey strategic relationship of cooperation for steady and healthy development. Zhu also mainly introduced China’s practice and experience in developing whole-process people’s democracy.

Perincek warmly congratulated the CPC on its centenary, and said the great achievements the Chinese people made under the leadership of the CPC inspired the Patriotic Party of Turkey to advance. He was convinced that the Chinese people will realize the goal of national rejuvenation under the leadership of the CPC, and stressed the firm determination to develop relations with the CPC. He was looking forward to further deepening communication, cooperation and experience sharing with the CPC, and jointly pushing China-Turkey relations to new highs.
