Beijing, January 26th—Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video call here today on the afternoon with Ahmed Akhchichine, Member of the Political Bureau of the Moroccan Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) and Vice President of the House of Counsillors of Morocco, and attended the opening ceremony of a webinar for PAM cadres.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Zhu congratulated the PAM on the results in election in the House of Representatives, the House of Counsillors, election at local level and on joining the coalition government. Zhu said, the CPC attaches great importance to developing friendly and cooperative relations with the PAM, and is willing to give play to the unique advantage of exchanges between political parties, jointly implement the strategic consensus reached by the two heads of state, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in state governance and administration between the two Parties, and push forward in-depth integration of the Belt and Road Initiative and the new development model of Morocco to propel China-Morocco strategic partnership. Zhu also mainly briefed on the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee.

Akhchichine warmly congratulated the CPC on the successful convening of the sixth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and wished the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games a complete success. He spoke positively of the historic achievements the Chinese people have made under the leadership of the CPC. He said, the PAM, once an opposition party, now becomes a participating party, which is a historic change. The PAM is eager to learn the advanced experience from the CPC in fighting the COVID-19, economic development, poverty alleviation, and development of the youth and women, and is ready to contribute more to Morocco-China relations by strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties.
