Xi Jinping noted, on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School co-founded by six parties in southern Africa: Tanzania's Chama Cha Mapinduzi Party, the African National Congress of South Africa, the Mozambique Liberation Front Party, the People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola, the SWAPO Party of Namibia and the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front, I extend my warm congratulations on behalf of the CPC as well as in my own name.

Xi Jinping pointed out, for a long time, the six parties in southern Africa have united and led their people in the cause of national independence, construction and development, winning the support of the people. The inauguration of the Julius Nyerere Leadership School will provide an important platform for the six parties to strengthen their self-construction, enhance their governance capacities, better lead their respective countries to develop and proper, and better benefit their peoples.

Xi Jinping stressed, as the world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century, China and Africa need to strengthen solidarity and cooperation more than ever to cope with risks and challenges, promote common development and improve people's wellbeing. The CPC is willing to take the inauguration of the Julius Nyerere Leadership School as an opportunity to strengthen the experience exchange of state governance with political parties in all countries of Africa, support each other in pursuing development paths that suit their own national conditions, deepen pragmatic cooperation across the board, promote the building of a high-level community with a shared future between China and Africa, and contribute more to the building of a better world.
