Qian Hongshan Meets with Farhod Arziev, Newly-appointed Uzbek Ambassador to China

Beijing, April 22nd—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Farhod Arziev, newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the People's Republic of China at request.

Qian welcomed Arziev on his assumption of the new post in China, and spoke positively of the relations between the two countries and inter-party exchanges. Qian said, the CPC is willing to strengthening communication and cooperation with the political parties of the parliament of Uzbekistan, jointly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of states, and push China-Uzbekistan comprehensive strategic partnership for sustainable and in-depth development.

Arziev spoke highly of bilateral relations, and said that the Uzbek side attaches importance to learning experience in state governance and administration from the CPC, and stands ready to work with the Chinese side to push bilateral cooperation in various areas for continuous and fruitful results through inter-party exchanges and other channels.
