Zhu Rui Attends Opening Ceremony of Webinar for Cadres of the People's Movement of Tunisia

Beijing, September 20th—Zhu Rui, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended here today the opening ceremony of the webinar for cadres of the People's Movement of Tunisia and delivered a speech. Twenty cadres of the People's Movement of Tunisia, including Mohamed Msilini, Member of the Political Bureau of the People's Movement of Tunisia, Former Minister of Commerce of Tunisia, and Zhang Jianguo, Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia attended the event.

Positively speaking of the relations between the two countries and Parties, Zhu said, the two countries share broad common interests and have always supported each other on issues involving core interests and major concerns. He stressed that the CPC is willing to develop friendly relations with the People's Movement, consolidate political mutual trust, deepen exchanges and mutual learning, expand practical cooperation, strengthen media cooperation and promote the comprehensive development of China-Tunisia relations. Zhu also highlighted the relevant situation and importance of the upcoming 20th CPC National Congress.

Msilini spoke highly of the great development achievements the Chinese people have made under the leadership of the CPC and wished the 20th CPC National Congress a success. Msilini stressed that the People's Movement is willing to learn from the advanced concepts and experience of the CPC in an in-depth way, deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties, and make greater contributions to the development of bilateral relations.

Zhang congratulated the People's Movement of Tunisia on the opening of the webinar for cadres, saying that the exchanges between Chinese and Tunisian political parties have played an important political leading role in the development of relations between the two countries, and that the Chinese Embassy in Tunisia will continue to promote exchanges and cooperation between the political parties of the two countries.
