Beijing, March 29th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today on the afternoon with Carlos Miguel Pereira, Cuban Ambassador to China at request.
Li spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries. He said that the Chinese side is willing to work with the Cuban side to resolutely implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, and join hands to build a China-Cuba community with a shared future. Li also emphatically introduced the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and China's “two sessions”.
Pereira briefed on the preparations for the 10th Legislature of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba and the current situation in Cuba. He expressed that the Cuban side is willing to take the opportunity of implementing the achievements of First Secretary of Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel's visit to China to promote the relations between the two Parties and the two countries to a new high in the new era.
