Li Mingxiang Meets with a Study Group of the Ruling Parties of Caribbean Countries

Beijing, April 12th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a study group of leaders of the ruling parties of six Caribbean countries, including Barbados, Bahamas, Grenada, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica.

Li spoke positively of the relations and inter-party exchanges between China and Caribbean countries. He expressed that the CPC is willing to work with the political parties of Caribbean countries to continuously improve bilateral and multilateral exchange mechanisms, promote the sustained and in-depth development of relations between China and Caribbean countries, and jointly foster a closer China-Caribbean countries community with a shared future.

Leaders of the ruling parties of the six Caribbean countries thanked China for its valuable support and selfless assistance to the development of Caribbean countries. They said that the political parties of Caribbean countries are willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC in various fields and push the relations between Caribbean countries and China to a new level in the new era.
