The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China has played a positive role in enhancing mutual understanding and trust and promoting practical cooperation between China and the EU. China is promoting high-quality development and high-level opening up, which will bring more new opportunities for mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation to countries and regions around the world, including the EU. It is hoped that the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China will play a greater role in helping enterprises from both sides better harness each other’s comparative advantages, seize opportunities, expand cooperation, and achieve common development.

Jens Eskelund said, the EU business community is optimistic about China's economic development prospects, welcomes the series of measures recently introduced by the Chinese government to improve the business environment, and is willing to share its successful experience in operating in China with European companies.
