Li Mingxiang Meets with Hani Chemaitelly, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon

Beijing, April 25th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Hani Chemaitelly, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon. Milia Jabbour, Lebanese Ambassador to China, was present.   


Li gave a positive assessment of China-Lebanon relations and inter-party exchanges, and emphatically introduced the CPC's concepts and experience in state governance and administration. He said, the Chinese side is ready to, together with the Lebanese side, take the consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Najib Mikati as guidance to firmly support each other, promote practical cooperation, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, and promote China-Lebanon relations for continuous development.  

Chemaitelly said, the Lebanese side appreciates the achievements of Chinese modernization, and is willing to learn experience in state governance and administration from the CPC, deepen friendly cooperation in various fields, and promote bilateral relations for greater development. It is expected that the Chinese side will play a greater role in maintaining peace, stability and development in the Middle East.
