Beijing, May 10th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with a delegation led by Aktam Akhmadovich Khaitov, Chairman of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen – Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.  

Liu said, China and Uzbekistan are good partners with mutual benefit and win-win results, good friends who share a common stake, and good brothers who share weal and woe. Under the strategic guidance and personal promotion of President Xi Jinping and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, China-Uzbekistan relations have entered a golden period of rapid development, with political mutual trust continuously deepened and fruitful cooperation results in various fields. In January this year, President Xi Jinping and President Mirziyoyev, who was visiting China, jointly announced the development of a China-Uzbekistan all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era, charting the course for the future development of bilateral relations.  

Liu said, since the CPC established ties with the UzLiDeP, both Parties have always maintained friendly exchanges and cooperation, and are committed to promoting the comprehensive development of China-Uzbekistan relations. Under the new situation, the CPC is willing to work with the UzLiDeP to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, enhance high-level exchanges and cadre exchanges at all levels, deepen experience exchange in state governance and administration, promote the integration of the Belt and Road Initiative and the development strategy of "New Uzbekistan", and promote the construction of a China-Uzbekistan community with a shared future. The Chinese side is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with the Uzbek side under multilateral frameworks such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the China-Central Asia Mechanism, to boost regional peace and development.  

Haitov said, China is a good friend of Uzbekistan. The Uzbek side thanks the Chinese side for helping with Uzbekistan's reform and development, firmly adheres to the one-China principle, highly appreciates and actively supports the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, the Belt and Road Initiative and the three major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping. The UzLiDeP cherishes its friendly relations with the CPC. I led a large-scale UzLiDeP delegation composed of central and sub-national representatives to visit China this time, and witnessed with my own eyes China's tremendous achievements in economic and social development. The UzLiDeP is willing to work with the CPC to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen experience exchanges and mutual learning in counter-corruption, poverty reduction, cadre training and other aspects, and facilitate cooperation between the two countries in various fields such as economy, trade, investment, green energy, and automobile manufacturing, so as to push the relations between the two countries for greater development.
