Beijing, April 27th—Jin Xin, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a media delegation from Arab countries. 

Jin spoke positively of the development of China-Arab relations, noting that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Arab countries. China stands ready to work with the Arab side to continuously deepen practical cooperation in various fields and build a China-Arab community with a shared future for the new era. As the world enters a period of turbulence and transformation, China is ready to unite and cooperate with Arab countries, promote the implementation of the four major global initiatives, and jointly safeguard international fairness and justice. 

The Arab side spoke highly of China’s tremendous development achievements in the new era under the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping, and praised China’s just position on regional hot-spot issues such as the Palestinian question. They expressed readiness to actively leverage the role of the media, tell good stories about China and China-Arab friendship in the new era, and promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges as well as people-to-people bonds between China and Arab countries.
