中欧政党高层论坛简介

　　在国际形势不断深刻变化,中欧发展面临新机遇、新挑战的背景下,为进一步增进中欧政党间的对话与理解,推动中欧全面战略伙伴关系发展,中国共产党于2010年倡导并在华主办了首届中欧政党高层论坛。在中欧有关政党和政治组织的支持和参与下,论坛迄今在中欧间已成功举办四届五次会议,双方就各自发展战略、发展方式、合作新领域、全球治理等共同关心的话题和中欧关系中的重要问题进行了深入的对话交流。论坛为中欧双方增进互信、构建共识、促进合作发挥了积极作用,品牌影响力不断扩大。

　　中欧建交40年来,对话与合作成为中欧关系的主流,促进了双方互利共赢。当前,中欧双方都致力于通过改革实现可持续发展,可以说改革和发展是我们的共同任务,双方交流与合作潜力巨大。鉴此,中国共产党提议以“同改革、共发展:中欧合作新未来”为主题,于5月17-18日在北京举办第五届中欧政党高层论坛,19日在河南省郑州市配套举办地方务实合作对话会。论坛期间,代表将围绕“绿色发展:中欧合作新机遇”和“开放发展:‘一带一路’助推中欧合作共赢”两个分议题展开专题讨论。

　　About China-Europe High-Level Political Parties Forum

As profound changes are taking place in the world and both China and Europe are faced with new opportunities and challenges, in order to enhance dialogue and understanding between political parties of the two sides and promote all-round development of China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership, the Communist Party of China initiated and hosted the first China-Europe High-Level Political Parties Forum (hereinafter referred to as “the Forum”) in China in 2010. With support and participation of political parties and political organizations from both sides, four Forums with five sessions have been successfully convened in either China or Europe. In-depth communication and exchanges have been carried out on such topics of mutual interest as development strategies and methods, new areas for cooperation, global governance, as well as important issues regarding China-Europe relations. The Forum has therefore helped to strengthen mutual trust, build consensus and push forward cooperation between China and Europe, with its growing prominence and influence.

Since the establishment of their diplomatic ties 40 years ago, China and Europe have themed their relationship with dialogue and cooperation for win-win progress. Both committed to sustainable development through reforms, it is fair to say that the two sides share common goals and immense potential for interaction and cooperation. Bearing that in mind, the Communist Party of China proposes that the fifth China-Europe High-Level Political Parties Forum, with the theme of “Forging Partnership for Reform and Development, New Prospect of China-Europe Cooperation”, be hosted in Beijing from May 17th to 18th, with a side event---Dialogue on Local Cooperation---to be convened in the city of Zhengzhou, Henan Province on May 19th. During the Forum, delegates may participate in two panel discussions---Green Development: New Opportunities for China-Europe Cooperation, and Open Development: China-Europe Cooperation under the Framework of Belt and Road Initiative.
