BEIJING, Sept. 3 -- the Party and the World Dialogue 2014 kicked off this morning in Beijing. Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Wang Jiarui attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.
With the theme of China’s New Reforms: the Role of the Party and the focus on the current comprehensive and deepening reforms in China which has drawn attention worldwide, the dialogue is to interpret the considerations, plans and actions of the CPC and discuss the implementation process and external impact of China’s reforms so as to help the international community gain an objective understanding of the prospects of China’s reforms and the direction of China’s development.
