BEIJING, April 25 -- Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Wang Jiarui met here today with the Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and the two exchanged views on the situation of the Korean Peninsula.

On the same day, Wang Jiarui also met with Nikolai Levichev, leader of A Just Russia Party and deputy speaker of the Russian State Duma. The two talked about party-to-party and inter-parliamentary relations as much as the state-to-state relations between China and Russia.
