As Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) and on behalf of all my colleagues at the Department, I welcome you to visit the official IDCPC website.
The Communist Party of China is known as a political party that embraces a global vision and concern for the common good of humanity. Since its founding in 1951, the IDCPC has been the functional department responsible for the external work of the Communist Party of China and directed its international contacts and exchanges towards accomplishing the central tasks of the Party and the country during various periods. Following the Party’s 18th National Congress and under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the IDCPC has played an important role as it has concentrated its efforts on further improving the holistic pattern integrating party-to-party diplomacy, public diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy, as well as on fostering a new type of party-to-party relations and a global partnership network of political parties and better communicating to the world the story of the Communist Party of China.
In the new era, we at the IDCPC will continue to work under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and acquire a keen understanding of the “Triplex Identity” of the Party’s external work, i.e., one of the Party’s important fronts, important component of the China’s overall diplomacy and important manifestation of the major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics. We shall focus our efforts on the main goal of achieving national rejuvenation and promoting human progress, and carry forward the splendid traditions and fine style of the Party’s external work to lend powerful impetus to the high-quality development thereof and make fresh and even greater contribution to the building of a human community with a shared future.
