BEIING, Sept. 16 -- The International Department of CPC Central Committee held a briefing Friday afternoon in response to the global concerns caused by the White Paper on China's Peaceful Development.

For the first time the white paper has issued a comprehensive statement concerning China's path and strategy of peaceful development and its foreign policies in pursuit of such development, said Qiu Yuanping, deputy director of the Central Foreign Affairs Office.

The publication of the white paper demonstrates China's willingness to communicate with other countries, to address others' concerns and to build a win-win world with fewer doubts and more trusts, Qiu explained to 120 diplomats from 100 countries.

She also answered diplomats' questions about regional cooperation, timing of the publication and China's political reform to achieve more understanding and remove their doubts in regard to China's development and prosperity.

Released by the State Council Information Office on September 6, the White Paper on China's Peaceful Development outlines the path, objective and foreign policy of the peaceful development and elaborates on what China's peaceful development means to the rest of the world.
