Beijing, January 10th--Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with Mohamed Osman Soliman Al-Rikabi, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Abdul Rahman Osman Abdulrahman, Minister of Oil and Gas and Engineer Makawi Mohamed Awad, Minister of Transport, Roads and Bridges of Sudan.

Song expressed that regarding Sudan as a true and good friend, China will earnestly implement a series of important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir on developing bilateral relations as always and push forward the constant development of China-Sudan strategic partnership. The CPC and the National Congress Party (NCP) are both ruling parties, and the strengthening of cooperation and exchanges in various fields will definitely play a more important political guiding role in the development of China-Sudan relations.

Song thanked the NCP’s congratulations on the successful convening of the 19th CPC National Congress and Comrade Xi Jinping’s re-election as General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee as well as introduced the main spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.

The Sudanese side spoke highly of the great historic significance of the successful convening of the 19th CPC National Congress to China and the world at large and praised the positive results of cooperation in various fields between the two countries. The Sudanese side expressed that the NCP attaches great importance to developing relations between the two parties and stands ready to further cement the friendly cooperation with the CPC on all fronts.
