Nay Pyi Taw, April 25th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services of Myanmar.
Speaking positively of the relations between the two countries and two armies, Song expressed that China supports all sides in Myanmar to adhere to dialogue and consultation, resolve differences through peaceful ways, advance the peace process of Myanmar and earnestly safeguard the security and stability in the border areas between the two countries.
Min Aung Hlaing thanked China’s active role in maintaining peace and stability in the Northern Myanmar, and expressed that Myanmar stands ready to work with China to deepen practical cooperation under the “Belt and Road” framework and enhance bilateral traditional friendship, in a bid to benefit the two countries and the two peoples.
