Beijing, August 27th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) of Malaysia headed by Lim Kit Siang, DAP parliamentary leader.

Speaking positively of the political leading role of China-Malaysia relations as well as that of relations between political parties of both countries in promoting bilateral relations, both sides expressed the willingness to establish inter-party exchanges and cooperation relations, enhance communication and exchanges, and increase understanding and mutual trust, in a bid to make joint efforts to promote China-Malaysia mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields and achieve win-win development.
