Beijing, May 11th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a group meeting here today with ambassadors from the Eurasian countries to China, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

Liu noted, China and the Eurasian countries have enjoyed a long-standing friendship. The two sides have continuously deepened mutual understanding and cooperation, and set a model of good-neighborliness, friendship, mutual benefit and win-win results. In recent years, President Xi Jinping has maintained close contacts with leaders of the Eurasian countries, playing an important strategic leading role in the development of bilateral relations. The China-Central Asia Summit will be held soon, which will further promote the peaceful development of the region and the world. The CPC has established a multi-level exchange mechanism with friendly political parties in the Eurasian countries. Through platforms such as the China-Russia dialogue mechanism between ruling parties, the China-Central Asia Political Parties Forum, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Political Parties Forum, both sides have continuously enhanced political mutual trust, firmly supported each other's core interests and expanded practical cooperation in various fields.

Liu said, at present, the international landscape is changing and turbulent. After President Xi Jinping proposed the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, he successively proposed the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, and the Global Civilization Initiative, continuously injecting strong positive energy into the international community to cope with challenges and share development. Both China and the Eurasian countries shoulder the important mission of development and revitalization. The CPC is carrying out in-depth study and implementation of the education campaign of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era throughout the Party, to make new progress in promoting Chinese modernization with high-quality development and high-level opening up. The CPC is willing to work with the political parties of the Eurasian countries to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of state of both sides, exchange and learn from each other's experience in state governance and administration, jointly explore development paths that suit respective national conditions, continue to promote the multipolarity in the world and democracy in international relations, and propel the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

The ambassadors noted, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, China's economic strength has rapidly increased, with significant improvement in people's livelihood and well-being and increasing influence on the international stage. At present, the relationship between the Eurasian countries and China has maintained a high level of development, with close inter-party exchanges playing a unique role in promoting practical cooperation and international cooperation between the two sides.

In the face of complex and turbulent international situation and common development tasks, the Eurasian countries are willing to deepen mutual trust, respect each other’s development paths, and strengthen political party exchanges with the Chinese side, in order to promote cooperation in various fields. The Eurasian region is where the Belt and Road Initiative was first proposed. The ambassadors supported the Chinese side in hosting the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and expressed their willingness to actively participate in the three major initiatives of global development, security, and civilization proposed by President Xi Jinping. The ambassadors expressed their hope to strengthen communication and coordination with the Chinese side on multilateral platforms such as the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, jointly oppose external interference, and uphold international fairness and justice. The ambassadors firmly believed that under the strong leadership of President Xi Jinping, Chinese modernization will continue to make new and brilliant achievements, and provide more development opportunities for countries around the world. The ambassadors wished the China-Central Asia Summit a complete success, which will contribute to promoting regional and global stability, development and prosperity.
