Beijing, October 22nd—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) led by Vladimir Isakov, Secretary of the CPRF Central Committee and First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League.

Liu said, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Vladimir Putin, China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for the new era has maintained healthy and stable development. The Chinese side is ready to work with the Russian side to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, deepen strategic communication, expand all-round practical cooperation, strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges, strengthen solidarity and coordination in international and regional affairs, and push China-Russia relations to a new level.

Combining the history of China's revolution, development, reform and opening up, Liu introduced the governing experience of the CPC and the core essence of Chinese modernization, saying that the CPC and the CPRF share common ideals and beliefs, and the exchanges between the two parties have made important contributions to enhancing political and strategic mutual trust between China and Russia and promoting the development of China-Russia relations in the new era. The CPC is willing to strengthen high-level exchanges with the CPRF, increase exchanges between youth and other organizations, deepen ideological and theoretical exchanges and mutual learning, and strengthen cooperation between political parties under the frameworks of the BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and other platforms, so as to contribute wisdom and strength as political parties to the development of bilateral relations.

Isakov said, this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Russia and China and bilateral relations have reached a new height in history. The Russian side cherishes its traditional friendship with China and speaks highly of China's important role in international affairs, adding that China's success is of great significance to world peace, stability and prosperity and the development of the socialist cause. During the visit to China, the delegation witnessed the great achievements made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC, which is inseparable from the strong leadership of the CPC with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core and the scientific guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era. General Secretary Xi Jinping's world-class leadership and excellent political wisdom are admirable. The CPRF is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two parties, increase youth and sub-national exchanges, and actively promote the experience and achievements of the CPC in state governance and administration to all sectors of the Russian society, so as to push for greater development of Russia-China relations.
