Beijing, December 2nd—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Annalena Baerbock, German Federal Foreign Minister.
Liu said, at present, global development is at a critical crossroads, and China and Germany, as major countries with important influence, should consolidate the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries from a long-term and strategic perspective. The Chinese side is willing to work with the German side to deepen cooperation in various fields on the basis of mutual respect and mutual benefit. Close exchanges between the political parties of China and Germany serve as an important channel for dialogue and cooperation between the two countries.
