Beijing, May 25th—Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Ahmad Muzani, Secretary General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party and Chairman of People’s Consultative Assembly of Indonesia. 

Liu noted that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia. In recent years, under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China and Indonesia have enjoyed leapfrog development in bilateral relations, in-depth development of pragmatic cooperation, and the deepening friendly feelings between the two peoples. China is willing to work with Indonesia to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Prabowo Subianto, strengthen high-level exchanges, enhance the docking of development strategies, promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and facilitate the building of a China-Indonesia community with a shared future of regional and global influence. The current international situation continues to undergo profound and complex changes, with increasing unstable and uncertain factors. China and Indonesia are both major countries in the region and emerging economies. China is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with Indonesia to jointly maintain regional peace and stability and promote development and prosperity. 

Liu said that at present, the CPC and the Great Indonesia Movement Party have both reached important historic junctures of respective development and are both responsible for leading respective national development. The CPC is willing to carry out institutionalized exchanges and political dialogues with the Great Indonesia Movement Party, enhance mutual trust, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning in party building, cadre training, economic and social governance, promote practical cooperation in various fields through the "political party +" channel, and advance the cause of each Party and the relationship between the two countries. Liu also introduced the CPC's party building work. 

Muzani said, the Great Indonesia Movement Party was established only 17 years ago, while the CPC is a century-old party. The two parties have established a close relationship through exchanges. A lot of experience and ideas we have learned from the CPC have become an important driving force for the Great Indonesia Movement Party to move forward. We are deeply honored that the CPC is willing to conduct equal dialogue with the Great Indonesia Movement Party. President Prabowo Subianto instructed us to further learn from China's experience in poverty alleviation, agricultural development, infrastructure construction and other aspects to better build our own country. The Great Indonesia Movement Party is willing to work with the CPC to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and better promote the development of relations between the two countries. We believe that under the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping, the Chinese people will better build the country.
