Beijing, January 27th—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with El Malick Ndiaye, National Secretary for Communication of African Patriots of Senegal for Work, Ethics and Fraternity (PASTEF) and President of Senegal's National Assembly. 

Liu said, in recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and leaders of Senegal, China-Senegal relations have demonstrated new momentum and achieved new results. The CPC is willing to work with the PASTEF to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, firmly support each other on issues concerning each other's core interests and major concerns, further enhance strategic communication, deepen exchanges and mutual learning on state governance and administration, promote cooperation in areas such as youth, women, localities and think tanks through the "political party +" platform, and strengthen coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs to continuously advance China-Senegal and China-Africa relations. Liu also introduced the experience of the CPC in strengthening party building and the main achievements of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. 

Ndiaye said, the PASTEF government attaches great importance to developing relations between the two countries and the two Parties. It firmly adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to work with China to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the ruling parties, legislative bodies and localities, deepen practical cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road cooperation and the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and help Senegal achieve its Senegal 2050 vision. The PASTEF is willing to strengthen exchanges of experience in party governance and state administration with the CPC, deepen cooperation in areas such as cadre training, youth and women, and improve its governance capacity and governance level. 

Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the IDCPC, Ayib Daffé, Secretary General of the PASTEF and head of the party's parliamentary group in the National Assembly of Senegal, Ibrahima Sory Sylla, Senegalese Ambassador to China, and others attended the meeting.
