Wuhan, September 21st—Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended here today the opening ceremony of the Commemoration of the International Day of Peace 2026. In his address, Liu said that this year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Since its founding, the CPC has always kept the whole world in mind, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of a major party in advancing humanity's cause of peace and development.

Liu said that since the 18th CPC National Congress, General Secretary Xi Jinping has creatively put forward the vision of building a community with a shared future for humanity and the four major global initiatives, charting the way forward and injecting positive energy into building a better world. Standing at a new historical starting point, the CPC will firmly serve as a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development and a defender of the international order, and will share the responsibility of the times with all political parties, political organizations and forces of all walks of life that love peace and pursue progress to advance the world toward a bright future of peace, security, and prosperity.
