Beijing, March 19th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) met here today on the morning with the 3rd training class for Lao leading cadres from 2016-2020 headed by Thongchanh Phoumyphanh, monitor of the class, party member of Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union Central Committee and head of organization and cadre bureau.
Li expressed that both China and Laos are socialist countries led by the Communist Party, sharing similar development paths and closely-related future and destiny. In recent years, the construction outcomes achieved by the two countries have showed the thriving development prospects of socialism. China is willing to, together with Laos, give play to institutional advantages, and enhance mutual learning to jointly promote the socialist cause for constant and forward-looking development.
Speaking highly of Laos-China relations and practical cooperation, Thongchanh expressed that the Lao students cherish this opportunity in China, and hope to comprehensively and deeply learn China’s development experience to actively use it for the domestic construction after returning Laos.
Vandy Bouthasavong, Lao Ambassador to China; Ding Wenchao, Deputy Director General of Second Bureau of the IDCPC; Zhang Xuyi, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Center and relevant principal comrades from the Party School of the CPC Central Committee attended the meeting.
