Beijing, March 20th--Xu Lyuping, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the morning with the cadre study group of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE) led by Jesusa Obono Engono Nchama, First Deputy Secretary General of the PDGE.

Xu expressed that China and Equatorial Guinea enjoy time-honored friendly relations. Both countries have always enjoyed sound and stable development in their relations. Both ruling parties treasure bilateral traditional friendship. The CPC is willing to further enhance communication and cooperation in various fields between the two parties and continuously cement the political foundation of relations between the two countries, so as to benefit the two peoples.

Obono conveyed President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo’s warm congratulations to President Xi Jinping on his election, thanked the CPC for its firm support and selfless assistance for a long time, and expressed the willingness to make joint efforts with China to jointly elevate relations between both countries and the two parties to new stages.
