Beijing, April 17th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) met here today with David Aptsiauri, outgoing Georgian Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of the contributions to promoting the development of China-Georgia relations and party-to-party exchanges between both countries made by Aptsiauri during his tenure, Li hoped Aptsiauri could continuously care for and support the cause of China-Georgia friendship in future. The CPC is willing to continue to enhance exchanges with political parties in Georgia, so as to boost the development of relations and cooperation in various fields between the two countries.

Appreciating the IDCPC’s long-term support for work of the Georgian Embassy in China and himself, Aptsiauri said that he will contribute to the development of relations between both countries as always.
