Beijing, May 23rd--Shen Beili, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) met here today on the morning at request with Constantinescu Vasilica, Romanian Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of China-Romania relations and party-to-party exchanges, Shen expressed that the IDCPC is willing to intensify coordination with the Romanian Embassy in China and further deepen party-to-party cooperation between the two countries, so as to jointly push for more outcomes from mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

Constantinescu expressed that Romania attaches importance to developing relations with China, and hopes to enhance bilateral cooperation in such areas as economy and trade and people-to-people and cultural exchanges. The Romanian Embassy in China stands ready to play a positive role in boosting party-to-party exchanges between the two countries.
