Shenzhen, May 27th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the afternoon with representatives of Brazilian political parties including the Brazilian Social Democracy Party, the Workers' Party, the Democratic Labour Party, and the Communist Party, who were attending the Second China-CELAC Political Parties Forum.

Li welcomed representatives of Brazilian political parties to attend the Second China-CELAC Political Parties Forum in China, and expressed that the CPC is willing to continuously enhance communication and cooperation with political parties in Brazil and continue to enrich the connotation of party-to-party exchanges, so as to help the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries to constantly achieve new development.

Leaders of various political parties in Brazil noted that the Forum has built an important platform for political parties of CELAC and China to increase mutual understanding and trust. Brazil is willing to learn from the CPC’s idea on party governance and state administration, and work with the CPC to jointly promote cooperation in various fields between the two countries, in a bid to benefit the two peoples.
