Shenzhen, May 28th--Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the morning with Faria, National Coordinator of Ideological Formation of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

Li congratulated President Nicolás Maduro on winning presidential election again and remaining in power, thanked Faria for attending the Second China-CELAC Political Parties Forum and the Special Promotion Conference on “Story of the CPC—Guangdong’s Practice of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era” in China. He expressed that China respects the development path independently chosen by the Venezuelan people in accordance with their own national conditions and is willing to deepen exchanges of experience on party governance and state administration with the PSUV.

Faria congratulated on the complete success of the conference, and believed that the conference has provided a sound platform for the political parties of CELAC and China to learn from each other and promote the development of the country. The PSUV is willing to work hand in hand with the CPC to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, so as to benefit the two peoples.
