Li Jun Meets with South Sudan's Presidential Adviser

Beijing, June 5th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the afternoon at request with the delegation led by Aggrey Tisa Sabuni, South Sudan's Presidential Adviser on Economic Affairs.

Speaking positively of China-South Sudan relations, Li expressed that China has always been an active advocate and promoter of the peace process in South Sudan. The CPC attaches importance to the friendly cooperative relations with the Sudan People's Liberation Movement of South Sudan, and is willing to deepen experience communication on state governance and administration between the two parties, and provide impetus for the development of bilateral relations through the exchanges of the ruling parties.

Sabuni thanked China for its long-term support and assistance to South Sudan, and expressed that South Sudan expects to deepen bilateral practical cooperation in various fields under the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
