On the morning of June 5th, Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met with Jean-Maurice Ripert, French Ambassador to China.

Qian spoke positively of China-France relations, and expressed that the CPC stands ready to strengthen exchanges will all main political parties of France including La République En Marche, so as to inject more connotations and vitality into China-France relations.

Jean-Maurice Ripert expressed that the visit of President Emmanuel Macron to China opens a new chapter for France-China relations. France stands ready to enhance exchanges and cooperation with China in various fields.
