Accra, July 19th--Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice Presidential Candidate of New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Vice President of Ghana, met here today with Xu Lyuping, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, who led a CPC delegation to visit Ghana.

Bawumia congratulated the successful convening of the CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties High-Level Meeting Africa Thematic Event, and expressed the willingness to further deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration between the two parties to elevate the relations between the two parties and the two countries to new levels.

Xu noted that the Chinese side is willing to, together with the Ghanaian side, make joint efforts, well carry forward the traditional friendship, and continue to expand cooperation between the two parties, in a bid to promote the in-depth development of China-Ghana relations and benefit the two peoples.
