Beijing, September 11th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Rubén Armando Costas Aguilera, President of the Social Democratic Movement (MDS) and Governor of Santa Cruz Department of Bolivia.

Li briefly introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and spoke positively of China-Bolivia relations. Li expressed the Chinese side’s willingness to integrate development strategies and promote mutually beneficial cooperation with Bolivia under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. The CPC is willing to make joint efforts with the MDS to propel the sustained and sound development of the relations between the two countries.

Costas expressed that the MDS highly admires General Secretary Xi Jinping’s idea on party governance and state administration as well as China’s development achievements. The MDS stands ready to learn from the CPC’s successful experience, and promote Bolivia-China exchanges and cooperation.
