Beijing, October 23rd—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a study group of the African National Congress (ANC) of South Africa headed by Hlengiwe Mkhize, Member of the ANC National Executive Committee.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Qian expressed that the CPC is willing to make joint efforts with the ANC to well implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, and enhance cooperation in all fields to elevate China-South Africa comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to new stages.

Mkhize said that the ANC attaches great importance to its friendly cooperative relations with the CPC, and hopes to further cement exchanges and mutual learning, in a bid to promote the long-term, sound and stable development of South Africa-China relations.
