November 19th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met today on the morning with a Palestinian multiparty cadre study group, which was headed by Mahmoud al-Aloul, Deputy Chairman of Palestinian Fatah, Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and Member of the Palestinian Legislative Council.

Li expressed that China firmly supports the just cause of the Palestinian people. The CPC is willing to, together with various political parties of Palestine, strengthen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration as well as exchanges and cooperation in various fields, so as to jointly guide China-Palestine relations for sound and stable development.

Aloul thanked China for consistently upholding justice on the Middle East affairs, especially on the Palestinian issue. Aloul expressed the support for the enhancement of exchanges between political parties of the two countries, and expected the two countries to strengthen cooperation in various fields within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, in a bid to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
