Beijing, January 25th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation led by Maya Fernández Allende, President of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile.
Li highly appreciated the outstanding contributions the Allende family has made to pushing China-Chile relations and expressed that the CPC is willing to deepen exchanges of experience in party governance and state administration with all the political parties of the National Congress of Chile and build a new type of party-to-party relations featuring seeking common ground while reserving differences, mutual respect and mutual learning, so as to guide China-Chile comprehensive strategic partnership for constant and sound development.
Fernández said that all the political parties of the National Congress of Chile share a high degree of consensus on developing relations with China, and are willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC to promote cooperation in various areas between Chile and China to new stages. As a member of the Allende family, she will continue to make unremitting efforts to the friendly cause between Chile and China.
