Li Jun Meets with Member of SPLM National Liberation Council and Chair of the Committee for Foreign Affairs at Transitional National Legislative Assembly of South Sudan and His Delegation

Urumchi, February 25th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today in the evening with a delegation headed by George Bureng Nyombe, Member of the National Liberation Council of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) and Chair of the Committee for Foreign Affairs at Transitional National Legislative Assembly of South Sudan.

Speaking highly of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Li expressed that the exchanges between the ruling parties between the two countries have played an important political leading role in promoting the development of the relations between the two countries. The CPC is willing to, together with the SPLM, further deepen the exchange of experience in party governance and state administration and promote cooperation in various fields between the two countries. Combining Xinjiang’s economic and social development, Li introduced China’s national and religious policies and the situation that all ethnic groups forge ahead in unity and with exchanges and integration for a better life.

Nyombe said that China’s ethnic and religious policies have demonstrated the Chinese wisdom featuring inclusiveness, and respected cultural diversity while maintaining national unity and social stability. The SPLM admires the CPC’s great achievements in 70 years of governance, and hopes to learn from the CPC’s advanced experience in state administration.
