Beijing, March 11th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with the 4th training class for Lao leading cadres from 2016-2020. The class was headed by Southammavong Sengpaserd, deputy head of the communication bureau of the Lao Ministry of Public Security.

Guo noted that China and the Laos are a community of common destiny with strategic significance. In recent years, relations between the two countries have ushered in the best period in history under the care and guidance of top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries. China stands ready to, together with the Lao side, constantly enhance exchanges and cooperation to jointly promote the building of a China-Laos community with a shared future.

Sengpaserd expressed that the Lao participants cherish very much this opportunity to exchange in China, hoping to learn from China’s development experience in a comprehensive and in-depth manner, so as to facilitate the national construction of the Laos and practical cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

Vandy Bouthasavong, Lao Ambassador to China, was present at the meeting.
