Beijing, March 20th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with David Saganelidze, member of the Political Consultative Committee of the Georgian Dream–Democratic Georgia (GDDG) and the Georgian chair of Georgia-China joint committee for economic and trade cooperation.
Qian made positive comments on China-Georgia relations and appreciated Saganelidze's contributions to the development of bilateral relations. He also said that the CPC is willing to deepen cooperation with the GDDG on the basis of the four principles for inter-party exchanges and push forward China-Georgia relations and pragmatic cooperation in various fields.
Saganelidze said that Georgia attaches great importance to developing relations with China and regards it as a priority in foreign exchanges. Georgia is willing to actively participate in the Belt and Road Initiative, strengthen inter-party exchanges and push for more achievements in Georgia-China cooperation for the benefit of the two peoples.
