Beijing, April 24th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today at request on the afternoon with Peter David, Minister for Foreign Affairs Peter David of Grenada, who was in China for the thematic forum on policy coordination of the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

Qian made positive comments on China-Grenada relations, saying that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges with Grenadian political parties to promote the healthy and stable development of China-Grenada relations.

David said that the Grenadian government and people firmly support the one-China policy. Grenada welcomes China to strengthen relations with Caribbean countries and is ready to actively participate in the mutually beneficial Belt and Road cooperation. The New National Party of Grenada is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC to consolidate the foundation for the development of relations between both countries.
